The first time I met Kate, I came into her shop to get a fashionable, trendy birthday present for my twenty-one year old daughter. You can tell she has vision. We talked about my hair and what she would do, so I made an appointment, and when I arrived she remembered exactly what we talked about.
I’ve had short hair in the past and it just laid flat, like a little boy, and I explained to her that that was my issue. She took the time to really make my hair look fashionable, short, chic, and she took the time to teach me how to hold a hair dryer and what products to use. But she doesn’t make you feel like you have to buy twenty products to make it look good. She shows you step by step how to style it.
She helped me to restore good color to my hair, we talked about all kinds of lifestyle things, things we’re both interested in. And I got a fabulous haircut while feeling like I’d spent the past hour and a half with my best friend. She makes everyone feel that way, I think it’s a real gift she has.
She has real sense of style and what looks good on people—immediately. She has great color sense. She did my makeup, and she taught me how to do my makeup. I’m fifty years old and I never really looked as good as when I left her shop.
